Lenovo announced today that it will be selling its laptops with the pre-installed Linux operating system software from Novell Inc.

Starting in the third quarter of 2008 Lenovo’s customers will have the option of choosing the operating system on business and consumer laptops.

I have not yet had any experience with the Linux operating system yet but I do know of its reputation for reliability and stability, and as always, more choice is always great for the consumer.
