Feast your eyes on Samsung’s 31-inch active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) screen.
Samsung is the first company to produce a AMOLED screen of this size. The AMOLED screen contains organic materials which emit light when electricity is applied to them. The AMOLED screens are brighter and have greater contrast than LCD screens and plasma screens.
It is believed that Samsung will have this screen on display at the 2008 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. I hope so, because I would definitely be interested in knowing the specs for this set as well as the availability, if any.
