Warner Brothers has announced that their blockbuster The Dark Knight will be available to consumers on December, 9, 2008. It will be available in the following formats 1 disc dvd (priced at $28.99), 2-disc dvd set (priced at $34.99), 2-disc Blu-Ray set (priced at $35.99), and limited edition Blu-Ray set(price not announced).
It is currently believed that the 1 disc edition will not include any extras. However, the 2-disc dvd and Blu-Ray sets will include the following extras: featurettes (Batman Tech: The Incredible Gadgets and Tools, Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of The Dark Knight), a Gotham Uncovered documentary, 6 episodes of Gotham Cable’s Premier News Program, galleries (The Joker Cards, Concept Art, Poster Art, Production Stills), trailers and TV spots. And in addition to all this, the limited edition Blu-Ray set will include you very own miniature Bat-pod. Pictures of this and the other editions below.
