It was originally scheduled for home video release on December 29 but the date was moved up to the December 22. This is my favorite sci-fi film of the the year. Moon did not play where I live so I haven’t seen that and Avatar does not look like it can hold up as a good movie without the 3D aspect, so I haven’t seen that either. Regardless, I will definitely be picking up District 9 on Blu-ray this week. I make it a priority to support quality and it sends a message to the the studios. You should pick it up also. Highly recommended.

When your not a millionaire and you live by yourself you quickly learn that you save a lot of money buying and cooking food for yourself. With simple meals you don’t really care about measuring ingredients but with the more complex meals a pinch and a dash just won’t do.
That is when a you need a measuring device to make sure your don’t ruin what you going to eat for the next four nights. The Spoon Scale is such device. It allows you to measure in ounces or grams. The Spoon Scale is very accurate also, able to measure to within 1/10 of a gram. It is a little larger than a regular spoon and costs $37 here.

Yes the device you see above is a stun gun which looks like an innocent lipstick container and will send 350,000 volts into any would-be attacker.
Imagine the following scenario:
“Alright lady pass over your money. I aint playing.” Lady reaches into her purse grabs her wallet and then grabs the lipstick stun gun. Ten seconds later the criminal is screaming in pain on the ground a few feet from her.
The lipstick stun gun is only 3 inches in length and comes in black, gold and pink. Ladies pick up yours for only $49.95. Just make sure you don’t confuse this with your real lipstick or that could lead to some unpleasant situations.
