In the coming months Toshiba will be bringing to the market the world’s first 32GB SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) card.

For those who do not need all that capacity Toshiba will also bring a 16GB version of this card and a 8GB micro SDHC card.

The 16GB SDHC card will be on the market in October of this year.Both the 32GB SDHC card and the 8GB microSDHC card will be available January of 2008.

Toshiba did not release any pricing information.

Toshiba has added a HD-DVD-R to their Qosmio G45-AV680 laptop . This make it the world’s first laptop to include a HD-DVD-R drive. This allows the consumer to burn up to 30 gigabytes of data onto a single HD-DVD disc. And when not burning data one can also can use the drive to watch HD-DVD movies.
